Yeah basically. Western religions = the main ones practiced in the 'western' world, i.e. Europe & N. America, so Judeo-Christian; eastern=Islam/Buddhist/Hindi (Arabia, Asia, India)

I was about to call the only western religion Christianity... but then I realized it came from Israel also... I don't think there are any real western religions... maybe Cherokee gods? or whatever the Stonehenge was built to? though I guess 'Western' usually means modern day western civilization, in which case Christianity and Atheism would be the only ones, Hindus, Buddhists and Islamics are usually only immigrants from those countries, haven't really taken off here

All types of Christianity do. It comes from Jesus talking about committing adultery in your mind being as bad as doing it, therefore masturbation and even fantasizing are out. Taken the full length to fully-baked Christian-ness, that means getting sexual gratification only from your wife, so looking hot chicks up and down is out as well, though I don't think 99% of guys are good enough to keep up with that one.
