If you're going to make fun of cheerleading (Which you probably can't do) at least make your own joke, instead of copying someone else's. And they say cheerleaders are stupid... dumbass...

It's a joke people. Chill...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, don't joke like this. Or else the Crime Fighting Cheerleaders from the Amanda Show will kick your ass.

I'm trying to become a cheer-leader, and I'll tell you it takes strength, time and skill. Its not any easier than any other sport.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah... it is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Is that sarcasm? If it is, all have you know, you can pick up a ball and play football anytime, but it takes months of practicing before you can do a backflip.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

*I'll have you know

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Your just avoiding the question.

*tosses a football* Ha, you missed it. Everyone laugh and stare at her. HAHAHA!

*Doe's cartwheel, falls on butt*

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's highly generalized. In fact, all of your statements have been generalized. Let's start simple. I'm a dude. I'm a wrestler. Every SINGLE day I work my ass off cross-training at a very difficult club. Do you know what "cross-training" is? It's performing calisthenics and other strenuous cardiovascular exercises to strengthen endurance for a sport. In a wrestler's case, calisthenics includes a lot of gymnastics. I had to LEARN in a matter of weeks to do front and back handsprings, headsprings, flips, round offs and cartwheels... And that's not even the sport I'm practicing for. I'm a WRESTLER, let me remind you. Cheerleading IS easier than other sports. If you even call it a sport, that is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can wrestle, just wouldn't be good. But you couldn't do a back-flip if you trained for weeks, it requires upper arm strength. Like wrestling.

AMEN

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's a facebook group. And besides the fact that you can't even think up your own argument against cheerleading, you probably wouldn't be able to last one practice. I don't bash other sports that I think look easy, because I've never actually done it. You shouldn't either, babe.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

people only make fun of cheerleading to tease the idea of it beign considered a sport, because its a "girl" sport. they dont do shit like this to chess and knitting, even tho people giggle when its brought up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@Hansa and gsouflis: I agree with you gsouflis bcus I did gymnastics as a child and quit at 8 but I can still do better stunts than any girl on the varsity cheerleading squad. Hansa shut up. Backflips can be done easily if you tried a week. It just takes longer for girls beacuse they have no arm strength to begin with so they have to build that first. Finally I consider activities to be sports if you can play it (play basketball, play soccer) you can't play cheerleading or play swimming. Golf is both a sport and a passtime
