I love how a white person cant say something about another race without being called racist, yet black people can say whatever the hell they want and not be judged. Amirite?

I always hear black people say, "Ha! Look at that white girl!" and it's not a big deal, but if a white person says, "Ha! Look at that black girl!" they're immediately yelled at and called racist. I've seen it multiple times.

Hmm. Well, let's see. I believe black people have suffered through generations of slavery & racism, plus continued discrimination even now. Of course, you personally did not cause that suffering as a white person in today's world (and you can make the argument "I shouldn't have to pay for what my ancestors did") but I think any visible minority (black, brown, etc.) has more than earned their right to laugh at other minorities or at the majority (white people). Sorry, but white people just have to put up with being called a racist when saying something about a minority. It feels more like an attack against the underdog than when it's vice versa.

They weren't directly affected, though. Their great great great great grandparents were. And everyone is equal, so it's not "attacking the underdog". There is still discrimination, I'm not saying there isn't, but it's just hypocritical of people to make fun of a race but yell at others who do it.

that's wrong. black people today are affected by it. that's why major sports (basketball and football) are dominated by black people because slave masters breeded the big strong ones. There aren't as many smart black people today because whites during slavery time would kill any black person they thought to be smart or educated.

My teacher has talked about this so many times. If there is something in a body cell, it does not get passed to offspring. If a person is super strong, the strength isn't passed down. Any non-gamete trait mutations or anything of the sort that occur during an individual's life is not passed down. I'm about to take a final on this. I know.

that is 100% the stupidest thing i have ever heard. some one from africa who moved to america five years ago could comment on a "white girl", and the girl could comment on the "black guy" and she would be the racist one. plus, i agree that all people are equal so the minority card doesn't apply, and what a person of one race can do a person of another should be allowed to do as well.

Nope. Up north. New York, to be a little more exact. Racism is awful. I don't mind a few racist jokes here and there, as long as they're not serious, or using it as a description ["See that black girl over there? She has an awesome haircut!"] but some people are just doing it to be racist or cruel or whatnot.

not really my friends that are white say hel look at that black girl and white girl all the time. I dont judge them, im black. I dont care if they say the n word all the time, i dont care. I dont see what the big deal about race is. there is no racism in my school, and im serious. If someone says "hey look that white or black girl has nice boobs," they are just using words to describe what they see. why hate on race when there is a pair of nice boobs right in front of you

its not equal because nobody understands what discrimination is. Any separation of racial groups is discrimination, whether it be positive or negative. So anyone attacking any other person should be frowned upon the same as if they're black white latino or any other ethnic, religous or cultural group.

People need to learn the fucking definition of racism, and understand that RACIAL and RACIST are two different adjectives. If I say to my friend, "Look at that black guy over there", that's not racist. If I said "Why do black people always look so ghetto", THEN it'd be racist. People have such a problem even acknowledging race, and that's what aggravates me.

The Arizona law is the way it is because of these illegal Mexican people. I always hear people say "Oh, that's not fair, Mexicans do work that regular people wouldn't do, they just want equal rights," and crap like that. But at my school, I get picked on for being white. They get horrible grades, skip class, disrespect people. They think they own the place. Same thing with the two black girls in my second period class. They're SO LOUD, and if someone says something they don't agree with it's suddenly their place to yell at them and threaten to fight them. And everything is just "so racist" to them. One of the most racist things I've seen are the scholarships ONLY for Mexicans or African Americans. I mean, really? I don't even have a shot because of the color of my S K I N .

i feel kind of on the fence about the minority scholarships. if you look at some of the poorest neighborhoods in your city, most of the people are african-american or hispanic, not white. that's just how it is, so some schools do have minority scholarships so that kids in these neighborhoods have an equal oppurtunity at a good education. i think that you shouldn't get worked up about it because a lot of schools offer many other scholarships that ANYONE can apply for.

Then have the scholarships be need based. Not according to the skin color, but according to the need. If a white kid is in the same situation, they should be able to have a chance at the scholarship as well.

If Black people need schooler ships, black people should earn them like everyone else. They should focus on there study's and extra curricular activities. And at the end of the day if they earn it, they earn it. That is if your talking about college schooler ships.

HEY, lets see it's not the 1800's anymore. that was a long time ago. i agree that slavery is very wrong. But it does get on my nerves being called a cracker, or white girl. if i said hey black girl, i would be called a "racist". why do i have to be a white girl, i'm just a girl. why should it matter. So stop pulling the slavery card all the time, that excuse is old.
