-220 If a man was meant to be with a man and if a women were meant to be with a women then God would have made it work that way...if you know what I mean, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Being homosexual is unbiblical. People need to realize this. Half of the people who claim to be Pro-gay are just conforming to the whole GayIsNot cause, thinking people perceive them as compassionate and loving, when most of them would never even hang out with a gay person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God doesn't make anything. We are an assortment of atoms, which form compounds and chemicals, which work in systems to create organs, tissues, and cells. These form our body. Sometimes, these work a little different. And according to your "god logic", did god supposedly make us all? Either he make a mistake, or he created homsexuality with intention. Or he just doesn't exist. Whatever comforts you more.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Neither of those three. People just chose to sin, and if you're one of those people, then you really should've known that right away...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Murkrow) i love you

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Theres nothing wrong with being gay. I know a bunch of gay and biexual people and they're the greatest people I know.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, God made us all. And He gave us a choice to sin or not... that's why there are homosexuals in the world. He didn't specifically create them...they created themselves by not denying their urges and attraction to the same sex. I have lots of gay friends and honestly they're the funniest, most carefree, awesome people I know, but I don't support their decisions. I think it's wrong. I think it's true that some people are naturally inclined to be gay, but I think it is entirely possible to ignore those feelings, no matter how hard it is. God is always there to help. That's just my two cents.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(amusicalheart) That is exactly what I believe.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Agreed! In the Garden of Eden, God gave us Adam and Eve (the first couple) free will. They decided to disobey God and ever since then man has been cursed with the nature to sin (Genesis 3) Homosexuality is a sin, however, I think Christians gain a bad rap when they put it on a level below other sins. All sin is equally damning, so we should not see this as any worse than lying, pride, etc. Additionally, any Christian who claims that God hates gays is ignorant and any gay that claims that God hates him is believing a lie. Since all sin is the same, and no sin is unforgivable, and Jesus died on the cross for everyone, no one can really say that Christians are unfairly judging. They just don't have the same struggles......

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Couldn't have said it better myself! =)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would beg to say that some Christians are unfairly judging people. There are a lot of people out there that go attacking people and say they are going to hell because they don't believe a certain thing. for example what the catholic church did in the crusades. Yes, I know this is different, but It is still that same prosecution its like from African Americans being slaves to them being prosecuted and oppressed by the white people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

LMAO it's so funny to watch ignorant idiots converse XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

who says that its a sin, and if you say that in Romans it says that its a sin (cause YES i know it does) may I also point out that disobeying your parents is a sin; and to many, a lifestyle. Stealing is another example of a lifestyle people lead, people that are poor and have nothing else. And you say this is different??? What if people are born and just like the same sex, So what. Honestly I don't think you would know because you were obviously born to like the opposite sex. If I may say, most of the things in the Bible are to keep people from doing stupid things and getting the society DEAD. (my improper grammar was on purpose by the way) People are stupid, A LOT. However, I don't think its too far from God to make some people have affection for the same sex. btw for those that are thinking I am just saying that to protect myself, I like the opposite sex.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I did not say it's different. Homosexuality is no different from any other sin. I also don't agree with disobeying your parents or stealing (even if you ARE poor), or ANY other sin. So would you be so kind not to put words in my mouth? Thanks. What I believe is this: God created earth and we were meant to worship Him and have intimite relationships with Him. He gave us the Bible to read and apply to our lives so we can become more like Him. That's the whole goal of the Christian life...to be more like God. Is the God of the Bible gay? No. So we don't believe in homosexuality.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, I don't agree with your views on this at all, but I do respect them and I at least understand your reasoning. The only part I can't follow is where you say the God of the Bible isn't gay. Now I'm not trying to say what God is or isn't, but I know the Bible doesn't talk about God's own sexuality.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's true...thanks for pointing that out. I should have thought that through.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why should one have to deny one's own natural urges to please some higher being that is said to "love all His children equally"? If He loves me like He loves all His straight "children", then why should I have to go against what is natural for me?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pretend for a second that you're a Christian. That means you love God and want to obey him! So you go against what is "natural" for you to please God. Also, in my original post, I stated that I believed some people have a natural inclination to be gay. I want to make it clear that I don't believe that ALL homosexuals have that inclination. Homosexuality has been blown out of proportion. In my opinion, there are more gays that would be straight in the world than people that are gay from natural inclinations. Some guys, for example, have feministic characteristics that they could ignore more easily than others, and they might actually be straight today. Same for lesbians.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you can't ignore loving someone, no matter what gender they are. a person can't choose to be gay, that's just an ignorant belief. why can't a man love a man or a woman love a woman without a ton of people freaking out? love is love, and you can't change someone's decision, or force them to change it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God might exist, and some people are gay. Can we move on, delete this amirite, and stop judging other people now?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

May I ask, when was anyone judged? I think its a fair judgment to say that heterosexuality makes sense because of procreation, but homosexuality just for pleasure.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@186645 (CodeGray): But many people don't even choose to be gay! It's an inclination that you're actually born with, in most cases. And there are a few reasons that homosexuality evolved. Mother Nature (or God, you choose) intended procreation to be the goal of life. Homosexuals were meant to be the caretakers of these children, as they can't have kids of their own by being with their partners. Just one theory- Mother Nature (God) does everything for a reason :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Every homesexual at some point made the choice to follow their desires. God always gives people a way out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what do you mean a way out? What is being gay some sort of torturous hellhole that you need a way out of? WHat is wrong with you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Learn the difference between a period and a question mark, please.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know the difference, it was a typo. No need to get all pissy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If homosexuality is bad because they have sex for pleasure then why do females have a clitoris? Why does everything have to be analyzed, why can't you just be happy with what you have and not care about others decisions.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree, if God intended for homosexuality to work, he would have made us like snails, where we could choose with has, uh, which part.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No one is judging. We're having a debate! It's through conversations like this that decisions are made about yourself, helping you to realize who you are inside.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It does work "that way", that's what bumholes and fingers are for!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You know what's a sin? Thinking you're God and judging everyone. Shut up, go to church but leave everyone else alone.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Amen Anon

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Explain Infertile women and sterile men that way. Wouldn't god have made that impossible? If you just mean sex, then by that logic you're saying that if god were to allow gays and lesbians, then straights would be the odd ones out, which would be the same situation just turned on it's head. That makes no sense, and by the way, a female doesn't need a penis to derive pleasure, nor a man a vagina.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Who is this "God" you speak of? And why do you give a shit about who loves who?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Dr. Grammar): amen, haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People aren't bound by the word of a deity. This post is why I hate religion. Also, you mean "a woman", not "a women".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

God, that "e" was driving me INSANE! Lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you, my friend, are a hater!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why must you judge others when it doesn't pertain to you? What other people do in their personal lives is none of your business. Also, many gay people don't want to be gay, and it makes them hate themselves because you make it seem like such a bad thing. If you don't want to be gay, then don't be gay, but you have no right to tell others what they can and can't do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Homosexuality is not a sin. It's not like homosexuals decided one day to be gay. They can't help their attraction to other members of the same sex just like heterosexuals can't help their attraction to members of the opposite sex. Therefore, homosexuality is just as much a sin as heterosexuality. This post just proves your ignorance and shows exactly why religious people are close-minded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Cath...): I don't think you can make the assumption that religious people are close-minded...that's actually rude, and quite stupid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Have you actually read the passage that says that homosexuality is a sin? It's in the book of Leviticus. Which is the same book that says that eating shellfish is a sin. Why does no one bitch at me when I eat a shrimp, but the whole world goes crazy if my best friend kisses his boyfriend?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Of course you're judging! You're judging gay people! And NO ONE, not even God, gives you the right to judge them. Just like you don't have the right to judge poor people or pregnant teenagers or people in prison. So to act like you are the voice of God, and say homosexuality is a sin and that you can ignore the urges (which is absolutely RIDICULOUS and incredibly ignorant) is wrong. If you take the bible literally, then you also must stone cheating wives and own slaves. Get OVER the literal interpretation of the bible. God says love everyone, for he loves everyone. EVERYONE. That's it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There is nothing wrong with being gay. If you are a homophobic you know you are a redneck. WE ALL JUST THINK YOU ARE JEALOUS.
