You know, it IS possible to have fun without getting high and wasted every weekend. amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yeah but why would you not, if you can?
It's like if someone said, "You know, it is possible to get from Point A to Point B without using a car." You could walk, but if you had a car available, why would you?

Because I don't consider that fun in the slightest.
You can still have fun while not getting drunk and high and stuff.
That's a bad analogy. Walking/driving is about efficiency.

Have you ever been high or drunk? Just so I know where you're coming from.
Getting high and drunk is about efficiency as well, you have more fun than if you were sober.

I've never been drunk, but the limited experience I've had high does not make me ever want to use drugs recreationally. I guarantee that I have more fun sober than intoxicated. I can't understand what anyone thinks is appealing about putting themselves in a haze like that.

Being intoxicated creates a new type of fun. Yea being with your sober friends can be great, but if you're all stoned then it becomes something else.

You don't consider getting drunk or high fun? You're doing it wrong.
by Anonymous11 years ago
If it's not too personal, could you tell me about the time you got high? You're one of the only people I've heard say they don't want to smoke pot because of their first time.

It is possible to have fun without it. But it is also possible to have fun with it. Posts like these annoy me

Yeah, Somedude. It wasn't pot, it was morphine. And I had it legally, in a hospital after surgery (even though I didn't need it.) Yeah, it felt phenomenal but I just don't understand drug use for recreation. I think it is much more appealing to be thinking straight and have control over what I am doing. Also, what's the point in having fun if you will only remember half of it later?

That comma leads me to believe that you think I do this and you're lecturing me.

this post leads me to believe that you (OP) think you're better than people who get high and wasted
by Anonymous11 years ago
not you, Statefarm. you're a good kid.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yeah. I mean I can have fun both ways. As long as you're not dependent on being under the influence to have fun, it doesn't matter.
