You would rather be too hot than too cold. amirite?

I've thought about this so many times, and sometimes I say "Well, if I'm too cold I could just use body heat, or roll into a ball" or "Well, if it's too hot I could just fan myself". But WHEN it actually is really hot or is really cold, you'd "rather" have the other condition.

That doesnt work here. What im asking is if all u had was a shirt and a pair of pants on, would you rather be stuck on top of mt. Everest or in a desert

I thougt that you were asking if you'd rather it always be summer or always be winter. I'd still prefer to be in the desert, though.

I'd rather be in the desert, because it balances out. In the desert it's hot during the day, but cold at night, so either way I could have some type of variation and still get my coldness. But really I prefer the cold; it's easier to warm up than to cool off (to me), plus too much heat causes sweat.

Maybe the desert want the best example. And ur not getting it. If there was no possible way to cool down or heat up, which would be more bearable For some reason no1 even thinks about frost bite.

I'd still rather the cold. If it wasn't any possible way to cool down from the heat, I'd just KEEP sweating and most likely heat to death. I HATE heat. At least with frostbite, I'd become numb. Plus, when frostbite occurs, that part of your body is essentially dead, which means I'd be unable to feel anything. So, yeah.

Have you ever been outside in -48 degrees celcius weather? (That's about -50 degrees farenheit) You don't become numb right away. It's freezing. The air gets so cold that stings your face and you can get wind burn. I'd uch rather be too hot than too cold.

Of course you don't become numb right away, I'm not stupid. I'd still rather be cold. I've lived in Germany and it snows pretty heavily there, and I walked to school every morning. I'm pretty much accustomed to the stinging cold.

This is only in negatives because it's summer. But I'd much rather it be 100 degrees farenheit (around 60 celcius I think) then twenty degres farenheit (-7 celcius I think)

yeah me too. Besides, when it's too cold you start getting painful frostbite. When it's too hot, you have a heat stroke and pass out. :D

people say you can always put on more to stay warm but when you are standing outside and its -5 you would give ANYTHING to have a nice warm summer day :)

Well maybe i just prefer hot cuz i had to walk to school in freezing weather while it was raining a lot last year while wearing nothing but a pollo and khakis. Being too hot seems way more bearable
