Yeah, well, Obama's busy trying to fix everything everyone else fucked up before him, including but not limited to Bush jr. The leniency given to the oil companies to allow something like this to happen in the first place was not Obama's work. Also, the impact of this spill would not have been NEARLY as huge if BP had followed the law and was willing to spend the money to have the proper safety requirements to contain the leak once it did happen. Unfortunately for Bush, he is a republican and his party has consistently voted against the environment and helped out the big companies, and something like this would not look good for him. Obama, however, has chosen a pro-environmental stance. So while neither of them were responsible, their parties are generally considered to be on opposite sides of the environmental issue.

No matter who the president is, it isn't the presidents job to fix it. It is BP's. It's not anybodies fault but BP's, and they need to fix it.

That is so true; however if it were Bush everyone would say it is his responsibility. I am not saying I support everything Bush did but I just don't like him painted as a villain while Obama is always "trying his best"
