Africa is a continent. Yes, there are poor parts but there are also dveloped parts (OMG, cities and everything!). Please stop lumping them all together and presuming everyone drinks from a lake 5 miles away and lives in mudhuts, amirite?

I'm from Cape Town and people are often like, "Do you live in a hut and is everything like "the lion king"?" But we must still remember Africa is a big mix and is very diverse and that there are some places which are very developed and others in which people are living in constant poverty

ikr. im from nigeria and aytime i say im going to visit family ppl ask"OMG were there like elephants ad monkeys everywhere?" ive even gotten asked if i understood all the songs in lion king. REALLY!? but i look back and laugh at that one though. but it really can get annoying. just to clarify i have a normal house in nigeria. drive a normal car and go to regular grocery stores.

That's weird, because I'm from Canada and I'm in my igloo (not the kind you're thinking of, this ones insulated and has electricity). Just got back from seal hunting which took FOREVER because my caribou kept hopping onto the wrong icebergs..ugh..might have to invest in a polar bear soon this is getting so ridiculous. But really, they have CITIES in Africa? Crazy, most stereotypes hold true up here.
