8 year olds shouldn't have cell phones, let alone an iPhone. This is coming from a sixteen year old.

I agree. I didn't have a cell until I was thirteen or fourteen, and I was then (and still am now) responsible for my own minutes.

It is ridiculous. There's a 9 year old at my job with a blackberry and he doesn't do anything with it but show it off to the other kids.

the reason we yell at kids is because we had no freaking iphones when we were eight years old. its not fair. i complained when my nine year old sister got an itouch for her brthday and i got mine for my 13th bday. and when you complain, they say there was no itouch for you when you were nine, suck it up! its like, then she souldnt get one! HELLO???

I don't see why little kids need phones that young. They have no need for it. Especially havig one of the really advanced kind. I could maybe see a simple flip phone or something, but blackberries and iPhones are too much.
