+614 Disney didn't procrastinate in making Toy Story 3, they just had to give Andy a little space so he could grow up, amirite?

It's Pixar.

Pixar is owned by and is a fully-integrated part of Disney.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But Pixar isn't Disney. Just because they are owned by it, it doesn't mean they are Disney. So its like saying Chipotle is McDonalds since McDonalds fully owns it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That analogy is ineffective for two reasons: One, McDonald's no longer owns stock in Chipotle. Two, Chipotle was never integrated into the food practices of McDonald's. Pixar is integrated into Disney and they work as one team now. Executives at Pixar oversee Disney movies, and vice versa. They are one in the same, like it or not.

lololol okay. You win this round. I had no backround on this anyways so I don't mind that I lose.

Aren't you the guy who has the 2-worst rated posts on this site? You are a legend, and I respect you for it, even if you don't know jack shit about Pixar.

Well it is part of Walt Disney pictures so yeah...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They didn't procrastinate, but the production of the movie was delayed very often. It was originally supposed to come out 2007.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That, and built up hype to make more money, just sayin'...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Absolutely. Andy is actually being played by the exact same actor as he was as a kid. Do you think they could have done that if the movie had been released two years after the second one? Although I think Pixar should be given MUCH MORE credit than Disney in the creation of their awesome movies.

I've literally grown with Toy Story! I saw the first one as a small child when it came out, I was older for the second, and now I'm going to college with the third! Its actually pretty awesome when you think about it. And I've been waiting for ever for this to come out! I'm so excited!!!!!!!

Toy Story is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters. But yes, Andy did have to wait about 11 years to be old enough to get into college....
