+453 There's too many feminist women who feel that they have to prove that they are better than men all the time instead of just accepting that they are equal to men, amirite?

Not really in my opinion.

women arent necessarily equal in the sense that theyre the same. i mean, they still want guys to hold doors for them and give them the first spots in line. i dont really think theyre less, but theyre different

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah SOME do. Others get mad and sue you if you hold door open for them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah, you're right

I do believe that women are still trying to earn rights. Legally, we have them. In the mindset of most men? Not so much.

Most men? That's a hasty generalization, isn't it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most men, as in in my experiences a majority of the men had this mind set. Not hasty, this is a theory that may be proved true or false due to more research.

Most men do believe that women are equal. The reason why we joke about women is because we also joke about men (not necessarily the gender, but also other races.) The fact that we joke about women should imply that most men believe in equal rights.

I think this is a never-ending stupid argument. No one is ever going to agree, and it's ridiculous. It's like how there's a Black History Month. If we really saw African-Americans as equals, we wouldn't have a month dedicated to them to prove it. Not to mention, having to say "African-American" so not to offend anyone. Stop talking about women's rights and black rights; let's talk about real civil rights. And I'm saying all this as a woman.
