Sounds like a win win situation to me. If that ever happened to me I don't care who gets paid or how as long as someone gets me out of that state!

I don't know how a brain dead person can wish or not wish to have his or her life taken, I just took a quick glance at the wikipedia article. I don't know the details of the story and didn't follow it but if it were me even if I could talk or move or say it... I would wish my friend did it. Zurg you and I cant be friends, I'm sorry :(

ie, wishes communicated before becoming brain-dead. I'd follow your lead but I disagree that "only a true friend will put you out of your misery."
