+260 When little kids are playing with toys, they often make the characters say where they are or what they're doing. "Let's go to the kitchen!...Okay, we're in the kitchen!" In reality, it wouldn't generally be necessary, amirite?

There's a word for that. It's called 'chuntering'. It's the term used when little kids talk as they do things. Like you get a kid going 'tying up my shoes and then I'm gonna go out and play with Jimmy' it's something they do to learn how to form sentences properly. Some people never grow out of it.
