+929 When you were a kid, you would want the teacher to pick the groups, so you can be with the person you like, without having to take the risk of asking them to be in your group, amirite?

My teachers always made sure that we didn't get in groups with people we liked, to learn to develop new relationships or something like that.

Same here. Or they'd try to group us 'evenly'-- so that each group had a 'smart' kid, an 'artistic' kid, an 'average' kid and a 'pain-in-the-ass-know-it-all-lazy-jerk' kid.

which were you??

It means the person you have a crush on that you're too afraid to talk to. The teacher wouldn't know that so he/she might group you two together.

I think it means the person you have a crush on kind of like, not friends, amirite?

I still hope for that in high school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When ever i hoped for that...never happened lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I still hope for that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I still hope that that too! But it rarely ever works! :/

Nahh, the person I like is 2 years older than me... He was never in my class :(

By a random chance once my teacher picked me and the girl I liked to work together on a project that lasted about a week. I was like "YES!" well not out loud, but... yeah...

I totally skipped the "well not" part of that comment the first time I read it and it made me laugh out loud.

All. The time. STILL waiting for it to happen : I've ended up working with almost every other person in my class, except for him.

This continues at work...Will the boss ask me to help that cute guy with his project?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, thats what it means, the person you have a crush on, and when it did work in school, that was the best feeling ever ,amirite?
