Well if you speak Spanish then go for it. But if English is your primary language then... Have we really become THAT Lazy that we can't say " I love you"?
I mean I understand if you want to say te amo because it sounds cool or you want to be creative (If you call it creativity) but the idea that you're only saying it because "it's shorter" then wow... Laziness is worse than I thought.

The point of words isn't to make conveying ideas a shorter process. If we tried to speak as little as possible, that would just be annoying and lame.
