+557 The song "Ashes, Ashes, we all fall down" was actually created because people where dropping dead from the plaque years ago, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The Bubonic Plague, ya?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The plaque? I should start brushing my teeth more if I don't want to spread my deadly disease!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, crap, there's a BUBONIC Plaque, too?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol I just noticed he said "plaque". Haha whatta loser... lol jk

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, people didn't brush their teeth that often then, so I guess it could be gingivitis.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lulz plaque

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Typo aside, this is a fact, not really an opinion :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think they were trying to sound smart by saying the thing about the plague (btw even i knew that) and now they're being made fun of because of plaque!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

how did this make it to the home page?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, so they made a typo, why dont you guys get a life and stop making fun of them just because they hit the wrong key.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

at least it was an anonymous post. plus its not even an opinion and they made a typo and most people already know that AND they were trying to show off. we're only joking about the typo. it's funny because its a real word, that's all

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i dont think they were trying to show off, i was on here when they posted it, and i noticed that like, 2 posts under it, there was a post that said "The song ashes, ashes, we all fall down is talking about throwing ashes and they fall down where you throw them" yea, it sounds stupid, but i think this person might be correcting them, or they might be showing off a little bit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well they could have commented on it because we don't get that he is correcting them. maybe showing off a little bit

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fail. -.-

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yea....its "a tissue, a tissue, we all fall down" Because sneezing was a symptom of the Bubonic Plague. Don't try disagree, and if you must, look up the original meaning of the rhyme first

Ring around the rosy A pocketful of posies "Ashes, Ashes" We all fall down! Ring-a-Ring o'Rosies A Pocket full of Posies "A-tishoo! A-tishoo!". We all fall Down! That's what I learned.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's what I learned as well! Since when was it "ashes"?! Haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, I learned it as "husha husha, we all fall down"....weird...but they're all basically the same so what does it matter?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually it was written because of the holocaust. Gas chambers.. Durh

by Anonymous 13 years ago

god. your retarded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Learn how to spell plague before making a post. BTW most people already new that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

everyone knows this except for the idiot that says its about the holocaust

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The song was called "ring arond the rosie", but yes it was about the plague
