I think everyone pretty much has an idea of what is considered 'good looking' for their own sex. I mean, why else would we dress a certain way if we didn't think it was good looking (if you tried to look good). Also, with some guys, when they think another guy is good looking, they tend to talk trash about him (at least from my high school experience)
