+354 22 is the only number that, when decomposed, describes itself. For example, in 22 there are two 2, so 22. In 33, there are two 3, so 23, OH doesn't work here. amirite?

wat about 333 or 4444 or 55555 or 666666 etc.?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

333 doesn't work because three three's is only 33. 22 works because two two's is 22. 12-19 works though...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In 333, there are three 3, so 33. No

by Anonymous 13 years ago

three 3 would be three 3's. 333 <-- 1, 2, 3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

..... in 33, there are three 3, so 333. yes. XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well three 3 is 33 if you put them together but if you add the mark of plural 's' at the end of the second 3 then it's 333.

What about 0 and 1?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Righty-o

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In 1, there is one 1, so when you say it, it's 11.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think OP meant there are 2 2's. So if you said there are 3 3's, the number would be 33.

What about 333 or 4444 or 55555 or 666666 or 7777777 or 88888888 or 999999999 or 1?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

333 doesn't work because three three's is only 33. 22 works because two two's is 22.

You all have way to much time on your hands. xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I realize that I forgot to write the plural mark 's' at the end. My post would have make more sense. I'm french and I didn't know it would make such a difference.

UR STUPID AND DONT KNOW ANYTHING HOW DID YOU PASS SCHOOL

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In 14 there is one 4 = 14 :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, but in 12 you could also so there is one 1, hence 11. So 12-19 doesn't completely work like 22.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You guys are all silly. 22 is the only one that works. 12 wouldn't work, see: 12(number)=one(quantity of number) 1(number) and one 2 = 1112. Same goes for every number past. Let me put it in algebraic form. XY = original number. Z=Quantity of X. V=Quantity of Y. It only works if X=Y=Z=V. If any of them are different, it doesn't work. 22= X=2 Y=2 Z=2 V=2. For 12, X=1 Y=2, It's already not going to work.

If only I could explain it like this!
