+747 I think the term "gay rights" might just be too much for some people to handle. We should start calling it "human rights" because that's what it is. It shouldn't matter if you're a woman who loves a man, a man who loves a man, a man who loves a woman, or a woman who loves a woman, you should be able to love whoever you want, amirite?

I know I'm that ten percent. I bet that statistic is fake.

Yeah that's like saying peados should not be punished because they should be able to love whoever they want. Including the young.

you sir, are a dumb cunt :)

Why? If both people are over the age of consent, and do consent, then how is it comparable? Gay people having sex isn't rape if both consent. Children aren't old enough to give consent, so having sex with a child is, and should be, illegal. Prove me wrong if I am, but I don't believe that your argument holds water.

For one thing, you area complete dumbshit for comparing homosexuality to pedophilia. And also, EVERYONE except for physopathic serial rapists is a little gay. I think that the boundary for being bisexual is 75%/25% or somewhere around there.

Agreed!! Even some of my closest straight friends like to kiss each other on the cheek, hug, and hold hands with one another. If they were really straight and totally homophobic, then most people would refrain from doing such activities.

I don't think you really have to be "completely straight" to not do those things. That's just culture, really. I went to Turkey and holding the hand of your spouse in public is a little risque, but holding the hand of your same gendered friend (guys too!) is perfectly normal and not 'gay' in the least. I held my friend's hand all the time and it was comfortable. Held her hand in the American airport and I felt like people were staring. :/ We should be able to touch a friend to show affection without having to worry if it's 'gay' or not. :/ Not all touch is sexually charged.

If we started calling it human rights the gays would start protesting about how we don't give them the proper terms and attention, because there was a gay protest in toronto for gay rights last week and yet they still have all the same rights, even the right to get married, so i don't see how this is an issue. if we take away the title of gay rights, there will be even un happier people. p.s. sorry for the lack of proper grammar, i'm using my cell phone with t9word

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Funny, I use my cell phone and I get perfectly fine grammar...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? Because I don't see people in the streets protesting that a man and a woman shouldn't be married. I don't fight for HUMAN rights. I fight for the right for GAY people. So that GAY people can get married. So that nobody can tell me that I'm wrong because I'm GAY. When this fight is over, yes! It will be human rights. Because we will be equals in the eyes of the courts. But for now, it is GAY RIGHTS. Because we are FIGHTING FOR GAYS.

I absolutely 110% agree with this post. Absolutely. Couldn't have said it better.

Wow, the levels of your ignorance of natural order are almost as astounding as they are pathetic. There are numerous reasons the male and female physical forms match. It's called procreation. Obviously "gays" don't grasp that. Poor poor confused fools.

Because even the term "Politically Correct" isn't "Socially responsible" anymore.
