@Spencer Newton "Yaught"? Really? It's YACHT honey, it's yacht.

He was spending time with his son. Just because something went wrong doesn't mean he's not allowed to take a break and have a life.

i didn't think of it this way until you said this. but now that you said it, i agree wholeheartedly.

I used to think the same thing, but somebody pointed that out to me and I realized that we were expecting too much of one person. Also, one weekend wasn't going to fix the oil spill.

why did this get homepaged now?

I KNOW

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh for real? Because no one else has ever taken a break in the middle of a HUGE project. You're the douche.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I see your point, but if something that huge landed on my shoulders, I'd want to relax, too.

Additionally, is he is the CEO. I highly doubt that he is making decisions regarding the clean up (though some would be going through him), coming up with plans for the clean up, or (obviously) out in the Gulf cleaning the oil. He pays people to do these things. Him taking a break on a yacht would have absolutely no effects on the clean up of the spill.

I think you all would have agreed to the post if it was homepaged back when it was originally posted...

He's sorry.
