I get pissed off because my school is crawling with people who listen to pop and there's always those few people to look "cool" they claim they listen to REAL music.

These people are the reason I will NEVER wear a band shirt. Ever. Even though I do listen to the kind of music that cool band shirts get made for, I will never buy one because I don't want to be associated with the people that wear them to be 'cool'. But it is funny when you ask someone what their favorite songs by the band they're wearing the shirt for are and they can't name any or can only name one.

Exactly. I'm an alternative/classic rock fan, but I refuse to wear band shirts because other people have ruined them for me.

I HATE it when I see stupid preps wearing a Beatles or Stones or AC/DC or Black Sabbath shirt it's like ok i know you have no clue who they are so why do you have there shirt? My little sister got a Beatles shirt and I thought she was just developing good taste ... nope she got it b.c it was purple >.>

I am a die hard Beatles fan, and I saw a girl wearing one of their shirts today, getting really excited I started asking her her favorite song etc. and she just looked at me like I had 10 heads and claimed that the people on the shirt were Pink Floyd. Trust me, they were The Beatles.

: that is exactly what happened to me with one of my friends a couple years ago. She was a cheerleader and so the day I saw her wearing the Stones T I was a little surprised and impressed that she listened to them so I said, "Wow, Brit I didn't know you liked the Rolling Stones." and I pointed to her shirt. She said, "Oh is that what this is? I just liked the design". Ughhhhhh, face-palm.

ESPECIALLY AC/DC and KISS! I went up to a girl that had an AC/DC shirt on , asked her what her favorite AC/DC song was, and she was clueless. I wanted to slap her across the face.
