No, things never just happen if we're talking about sex. A kiss, maybe... an inappropriate conversation, sure... but if it gets any further than that while you're conscious and consenting, you're a cheater and you deserve to get dumped.

I think people only cheat if they're unhappy with the person they're with. So if they love the next person they won't cheat on them. I also think every case is diffrent.

Not true. So many cases I know (usually in marriages) the spouse who cheated is actually very satisfied sexually with their spouse and loves them a lot. And it's usually the husband who feel the need to have an extra marital affair. It's so strange and very annoying how sometimes no matter how good things are, cheating can still happen

Actually it really depends on the age, in their 20's men are more likely to cheat, I think it's women in their 40's that are likely to cheat more, just because these two are when sex drive is at it's strongest or something. I read it in an article once I don't remember the details

Men don't really cheat a lot more than women; it's the reasons that are so different... men who cheat a lot of times aren't unhappy in their marriages, like you say, and are often just looking for a cheap thrill, or to prove they're still "man enough" to pick up women. When women cheat(I'm talking about adults here)they generally *are* unhappy in the relationship- it's usually because she feels ignored or neglected by her significant other. Women seek affection and emotional support from affairs; the sex is often almost incidental, as in, just the only way they know to draw affection from men. Looked at in that light, the reason men get a worse rap for cheating is not so much how prolific they are, but because of the selfish and shallow reasons they do it.
