+150 Plants are treated just as badly as animals. The are raised just to be killed, all shoved together, and are stuffed with organic crap to make the consumer healthier. But plants can't complain, and there aren't people that give them up, too. So vegetarians and vegans are really fighting for only half of the unjustices, amirite?

woah the irony, your deep

My... deep... what?!?!

Its the inorganic shit you have to worry about. For produce to legally be considered organic, it must have been growing in that area for at least 7 years, with NOTHING shoved into it and no pesticides used...I am not a vegetarian btw

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The plants are still organic.... People raise animals with chemicals so they can grow bigger, faster....

troll Problem?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Is this supposed to be read: "plants can't feel, you fucking idiot." "plants can't feel you, fucking idiot." or "plants can't feel you fucking, idiot."

comma?

Eating plants would only be an injustice if plants were proven to be sentient. Then everyone would have to wait outside on their roof tops until space dust falls from the sky.

Do you happen to have that comic?

Eat that toast

Animals can't "complain" either. People can support whatever they choose. You can't go up to someone fighting against breast cancer and accuse the person of not caring about testicular cancer.... I'm not saying that it's the same thing, because your point is way stupider, but if your post did make the sense you wanted it to, my above statement should have covered it

Maybe we should all just become fruitarians and only eat fruit that falls off of trees naturally. I'm sure that would work out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruitarianism
