I liked the movies for their entertainment value, but the series itself and the whole Harry Potter universe did nothing for me. I'll stick with Star Wars and Lord of the Rings for going into depth with.

If you had read the books, you would've gotten more out of it. :)

I agree, the films miss loads of important stuff out and don't really fit together unless you read the books.

you can if u want, but u should also read the books so u understand it better. or just bcuz they're amazing books
