+709 If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The farmers fed them their meals, now its time for them to feed the farmer. It's a never ending circle of love.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Technically if you are a straight female, you really can't be vegetarian....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why is that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That isn't funny.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(riddlesarehard):i don't get it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

meat.org turned me into a vegetarian!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

meatspin.com turned me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you know, those videos are the extreme case, I hate seeing shit like that, it's not true 99% of the time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

repeat post!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Paul McCartney quote? Yes. <3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

pretty sure I wouldn't. I mean, it'd be gross and sad and everything, but then the meat gets all processed and cooked and tasty and NOT disgustingly gory.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i posted this first. >_>

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fuck that. Bacon is bacon, and bacon is delicious, don't care if the pig was fat and rolling around in mud, I ate it, and I'm still alive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's saying everyone would be vegetarian if they saw what was going on in slaughterhouses because what goes on in those slaughterhouses is so gross and depressing, you wouldn't want to eat meat. And pigs rolling around in mud? That doesn't happen! They're squished in pens uncomfortably, sitting in their own poop

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whatever, same shit different pile. My point is, bacon is delicious, I don't care what happened to the pig.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so, if you ate a human (which, by the way, tastes like sweet pork, according to research) you wouldn't care what happened to them? as long as it's delicious? How bout dogs or cats? Oh, well, guess it doesn't matter if you like the taste, eh.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What the fuck does humans have to do with this? I'm not a cannibal. AGAIN: YES. And I quote "bacon is delicious, I don't care what happened to the pig."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well, I'm just saying that you don't care what happened to the animal, as long as it tastes good, right? So why not humans? humans are part of the animal kingdom too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, but that's cannibalism, and is frowned upon in most regions of the world.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ah, yes, but meat-eating is frowned upon in quite a few religions and cultures.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But I'm American, I don't give a flying fuck. Japan kills whales, we kill pigs, big deal.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

WOW, and you just said earlier "and is frowned upon in most regions of the world." but now that it satisfies your taste buds, you suddenly don't care? Right then.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have no idea what you're talking about, let me just make this clear. CANNIBALISM. IS. NOT. INVOLVED. Over in asia, they eat the weirdest shit, same in africa and EVERYWHERE ELSE. Here in AMERICA, we eat pork, and if YOU find it wrong to eat an animal, that's YOUR opinion. But the obvious majority of America doesn't care and will CONTINUE to eat animals. Again, CANNIBALISM IS NOT INVOLVED.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Those animals you feel bad for eat other animals without feeling bad for them. It's the food chain. So if a slaughter house had glass walls I wouldn't become a vegetarian, anyway.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you're right, and those animals are there for us to eat and i can't believe these people are comparing a human to an animal. killing a human is called murder and is a crime. killing an animal for food is called survival.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You don't necessarily need meat to survive, i fact it takes so many more resources to produce it than simply growing crops. We as Americans actually have the option to discontinue needless pain and suffering of our fellow creatures, so why the hell would you eat meat? As this post says, If you knew what happened in a slaughterhouse, you'd never go back to meat.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@230834 (towriteStars): I see it this way. There's this wonderful thing called the food chain. Other animals show no remorse killing other animals for survival, so how come when we humans do it it's so wrong? Since humans are widely considered animals by many people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Watch a couple videos on slaughter houses then think again.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I actually have seen a couple slaughter house videos, and I still haven't changed my mind.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with towriteStars. plus, don't you think eating cats and dogs is messed up? Then why do other animals suddenly seem to be worth less, if anything, compared to dogs and cats?
