+47 If European American is "white", and African American is "black", Mexican American (or Spanish American or Hispanic American) be "grey", amirite?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Yes, because God forbid we don't give the Mexicans a color too. They might get offended if we leave them out.

They're brown, fool.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

We're brown.

brown

I have two full blood Mexican friends, and they're both as light as asians. So, they're not really brown, they're yellowish. D<

Yeah, not all Hispanics are brown; I'm very pale and of Mexican and Spanish ethnicities.

Why? If a white person and a black person have a baby, it doesn't come out Mexican, so why would Mexicans be gray?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Because they are somewhere in the middle. XD

by Anonymous 14 years ago

the point was that white people aren't actually "white" and black people aren't actually "black" but we call them these things. Therefore, a latino, who is in between the shades of a caucasion and an african would have to be "grey"

by Anonymous 14 years ago

exactly.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

We're brown/tan for the most part. Cuz I'm pretty pale/white.
