My best friend's brother-in-law was the manager of a small family-owned theatre in the historic center. Popcorn was a dollar for a small bag, five for a large bucket, and Icies were two fifty. And tickets were really cheap too, like five seventy five for children and adults. Too bad it went out of business :'(

i know, there was a small theatre that was cheap around the corner from me, where they had like 100 couches for seats and it was amazing, but they went out too, it was so sick

I had a dollar theatre with cheap food about an hour from where I live, and apparently it became illegal to charge that little. What the heck?

The money from the snacks goes directly to the movie theatre. Only a small portion of the tickets actually goes to the theatre itself; it goes to the people who made the movie.
