Few thousand years of conflict should do it

USA spouts nonsense about religion, foreigners, gays, and education. Meanwhile, Europe just sits there and wonders if they should give their gay black transgender well educated friend from Africa some more tea like it's any other day with any other person. Probably not, actually, but from what I hear, Europe is more secular than the USA and that already screams "rational" to me.

The adults seem to be. The children, however, are perhaps more mature but they also seem to be more tough and get into more trouble than American kids.

Seriously? I always pictured European kids as more calm and well behaved than Americans. I mean, America has gangs and school shootings and stuff. I never pictured Europe like that. Then again, I have no facts to back this up. Just my own perceptions.

Well, perhaps my view of Americans is swayed by the upper-class, "white" neighborhood I live in. And as for the Europeans, I'm definitely generalizing but I've visited France, Italy, England, Switzerland, and Germany and these attributes seem to be true in the children there.

actually, in Europe, basically nothing is illegal. People drink there like crazy and cigarette smoking is huge among teens, i used to go to a public school in Switzerland and then in London, i would know.

I think that Europe is more culturally mature, but America is more technologically advanced

American actually work 100x harder than most Europeans. In Spain, they takes siestas in the afternoon, and they party literally all night, and in France, a person receives two months of paid vacation a year. All unthinkable in the office I work in, here in America.

None of you have quoted more than two countries, when many countries in Europe differ wildly from each other - I mean, Romania and England are completely different, but both in Europe. You can't generalise Europe in the same way you can the U.S.
