Everybody has those "ugly years," and they're generally in middle school, amirite?

bout 3rd-7th grade...

Unless you're mega pretty in middle school, then in high school you kind of go down hill....the snobs deserve it though!
by Anonymous13 years ago
possibly high school, although those are more of the slutty years
by Anonymous12 years ago
how is slutty on the same spectrum as ugly??? i really want to know...are you implying that pretty people are slutty? xD i'm just a tad confused here
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh lol I mean that high school years are sometimes the ugly years too. But from my experience, high school years are the slutty years for most people.
by Anonymous12 years ago
And some people never grow out of theirs.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh, so I guess some people like to relive those years...over and over.
by Anonymous12 years ago
actually, no, my ugly years were preschool, definitely. do you know the intense emotional pain one experiences when he or she is the only non-cute preschooler there?? i had to talk to the kindergarten therapist and draw my feelings out on Crayola for months following....

6-early 8th grade.
A tip for guys trying to grow really long hair - don't.
by Anonymous12 years ago
5-6 I was the most ugly thing ever! I'm definintly not gorgeous now...but atleast I'm semi- average :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
yay for mediocrity :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
I refused to be photographed from ages 12-15. It was a very difficult time.
by Anonymous12 years ago
3rd-5th... Oh god...
by Anonymous12 years ago
same here. bad style, hair and crooked teeth.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Mine have been from about age 10 until now.

I think it's funny when there were people who were considered "hot" in like sixth grade then you look back in the yearbook you wonder what you were all thinking.

I had braces, I was short, I had no idea how to rein in my "overly enthusiastic" hair, and then there were the HIDEOUS orange flowery pants my sweet old grandmother decided I could not live without. And was forced to wear to school. More than one.

7th and 8th grade. -.- I stupidly dyed my hair red and it was in that emo swoop. And when it wasn't straightened it was frizzy and big. One top of that I was scrawny and had bushy eyebrows..
by Anonymous12 years ago
7th and 8th I had an Adolf Hitler haircut and all my clothes were from my older brother so they were way to big for me. I looked ugly as shit.
by Anonymous12 years ago
These are times in my life that we do not speak about...
by Anonymous11 years ago
4th grade to 10th grade. Seriously, that's a long time, but it's true I think.
by Anonymous11 years ago
First to about eighth grade. I like to think the phase is over, barely a year later.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I was that awkward girl to bloom before all the others... I was felt like a giant freak and I had braces too. Ugh! Oh well.. I look puuurrttyy good now.
by Anonymous11 years ago
From 6th grade to now. I'm still in middle school so I'm still in that phase. :)
by Anonymous11 years ago
I've mostly grown out of my awkward stage so most people think I'm reasonably pretty or at least average, but I still get loads of abuse from strangers because I have red hair. I hope that'll change when I leave school.
