+411 It's kinda sad how people truly and actually care about a person after his/her death. I mean it's disrespectful to insult a person after they died, but why do they completely change themselves or their feelings just out of pity? Some people realize how significant that person was later, but others only care just because everyone else does. amirite?

Hitler is dead. He is disrespected. If you hate somebody, and then they die (and you have personally done something to let them know you hate them), Guilt kicks in. THAT is why people change their feelings. Its not pity, its guilt

I was thinking about the famous pedophile, Micheal Jackson, when I read this.

Took the words right out of my mouth. But do you know whats even worse? 5 of my friends got in a car accident a while back and then when we found out one of them died a person I was with rudely said "I hope it was ____" then now on their myspace they have the whole "RIP" thing. its like wtf.

@Dan The Big Mack i was thinking the same thing.

I didn't like Micheal Jackson before he died and I still don't like him. and I do not feel guilty

They're clearly not better now than when they were alive, so stop acting like they are.

You know, I never thought of Michael Jackson, but that is so true. A ton of people randomly became obsessed with him just because he died, when before they all knew he was some weird crazy pedophile. I think people should have their own opinions on people after they die rather than just go with the crowd, ya know?
