+470 More people would actually enjoy the Twilight Saga if there weren't so many annoying fan girls, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, less people would hate it.

...If there were no fangirls, there'd be fewer fans. Obviously.

Not having fan girls does not make up for not having a plot in my opinion.

I doubt it. That still wouldn't change the fact that it's a pretty terrible series.

hahahah having fewer fans would give it more fans. it's weird that thats true

and if people didn't try to compare it to Harry potter

I used to love Twilight, but the last book in the series really bothered me. Everything ended too perfectly in my opinion, and then when the movie came out and it got even more popular I just got really sick of all the hype

I'd hate Twilight either way but only because that much romance nauseates me.

And if it was well written..

I read Twilight before it became a phenomenon, and I enjoyed it ( I was also much younger back then)...then the fan girls started screaming "team Edward" at me because I wasn't too keen on the vamps, and since then, I hate it. So there is truth in this post, lol

If the characters had more to their love than a perfect face and the urge to face-touch each other (both taken directly from the book) it might be a decent love story. But whoever says their love is deep and pure, has never been in love, or through puberty for that matter.

Fan girls or no fan girls, it does not change the fact that the books are poorly written, have horrible characters and no real plot at all...

I liked the books, before there were fangirls. The movies were meh. More people would like it if: 1. People stopped obsessing. Seriously? It's just a book/movie series. You're allowed to be a big fan, but obsessing over it is just silly. 2. There wasn't a "Team Edward vs Team Jacob". Everyone knows she winds up with Edward in the end. What's the point? 3. It wasn't compared to Harry Potter all the time. They're about completely different things. It's like comparing apples to oranges. 4. If Bella wasn't so clumsy. That really annoyed me. She'd trip over flat surfaces and get papercuts in front of vampires too often. 5. If people stopped obsessing about hating it. They're worse than the people who obsess about liking it.
