Obviously it's a boy's cry for attention as he has been over shadowed by a man with the exact same name his whole life. It's a song of desperation. It is a truly remarkable coincidence, the whole thing, and a shame that the child must go through his whole life unnoticed. Whenever you hear this song, remember the little guy. He's just as important as the outgoing leader of the group.

It was to make "Recess" a much better show

by Anonymous 12 years ago

To entertain little kids, and to annoy the heck out of adults.

For a dosage of alliteration?

Who, we have the same name? Let us sing! LALALALALALALA

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It was actually written during the Holocaust, when Jews lied about their names so they wouldn't be discovered. It wasn't uncommon for them to come up with the same fake name as another Jew.
