I don't smoke and never will. I hate it. But i completely agree with you. As for "it affects everyone in the world", so does you driving a car to get where you want to go faster, but you won't give that up as quickly as you'd have people stop smoking.

How are they necessary? You could walk, ride a bike, get a bus, get a train. Just because YOU feel that your car is necessary, doesn't make it so. To smokers, cigarettes are necessary to make their bodies feel normal. Most smokers i know will move or put out their cigarette if you tell them it is bothering you anyway.

Well for my 30 mile morning commute, a bike obviously won't work, a bus isn't feasible, and there isn't a train. I agree, most smokers are polite, but regardless, I do hope that one day there will not be cigarettes. They don't have much in the line of redeeming qualities, but even with our limited knowledge we know they cause cancer and other diseases, along with being plain poisonous in general.

You have to inhale quite a bit of second hand smoke for it to have any effect on your body, you know. If smokers are killing anybody, it's themselves. Everybody wants to give smokers this evil stereotype. Not all smokers are assholes who go around looking for people whose faces they can blow smoke into. If asked politely to put out their cigarette or blow their smoke the other way smokers will gladly do so. As far as this post goes, there are plenty of things that are more rude than this.

Honestly im a smoker and I don't like being around a bunch of people smoking. Although, I know that i for one don't smoke in public and If I'm around a non-smoker I ask if it's okay if I do. So don't put all smokers into one category. #idiots.piss.me.off!

As a smoker and also a person who respects others, I don't smoke around non-smokers or children. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see people who hold their child, and smoke.
