I live in Chicago and went to a game last year. They lost miserably and everyone there was too drunk to function.

Really? Because I guarantee most of those people there actually care about the Cubs. It's too expensive to just go and get drunk, you can do that any time. The fact that they were even there supporting a bad team means they're real fans. Unlike the Sox who can't even fill the stadium when they're in the playoff hunt.

I never said anything about people not caring about the Cubs. People can care all they want. I don't really care. But from my experience, the Sox games I've been too were a lot more fun/worth the money than the Cubs games.

Whatever. Your opinion is your opinion and mine is mine. The games I went to, everyone around was drunk. No one was watching the game, except the people I went with and myself.

You're basing your opinion of an entire fan base on some drunk people at a game. I also bet you were focusing on the drunk people around you and didn't notice the good fans also around you. Just because a few people went to the game and didn't care, doesn't mean the whole fan base is the same way.
