Seriously? Mine was a cabinet, and then we got the kitchen redone, and it still is a cabinet. I kind of assumed everyone's was like that.

I mean like directly below the sink. Most of the time, they're just wooden panels.

Yeah. I have a hutch like that that I still try to open occaisonally, but my sink has a little flip out draw. It's pretty awesome :-)

They're more like drawers. The cabinets below THEM actually open (in my house).
