erm, no, not at all. No character he plays is quite like Michael Scott. and his character in Date Night is different from his character in Get Smart is different from his character in Evan Almighty is different from his character in 40-year-old Virgin.

Hmm if i was to pick an actor thst plays the same guy i would pick will ferell or adam sandler, steve carell can change character a little bit but not that much

I agree he really does, I am sure there are very few instances where he changes it up slightly but honestly he always plays that frumpy depressed guy crap. He may not have done it all the time in the office but it was there. I never enjoyed the US version of office anyway its completely lame compared to the UK version. Now its even more lame since Carell left. Quite frankly I'm honestly sick of the US thinking they can take already good shows and make them better. Shameless is another perfect example of the US completely turning something amazing into trash. I cant stand the guy who plays Andy either, just freaking annoying that is how poorly I enjoy his performances. I don't even care to know his name at all other than the character he plays. All in all I personally could careless because I won't watch anything he is in anyway, he really isn't that funny either just very stale comedy. I just have to ask myself why do these produces keep paying him to do the same thing over and over? Must be nice. Seeing the new trailer to "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" seriously made me sick of him.. so I searched how badly people agree with me that he does kinda suck role wise.
