Call me old-fashioned, but when you find the right guy that you actually want to kiss, it's not because you feel pressured or that you should because of your age. It's because you want to and you feel ready. That's when kissing will be a natural and emotional experience and not something you did because "everyone else is doing it". I don't mind though... waiting for a decent guy etc. But three of my best friends had their first kisses at 15 - one was perfect, their still dating after about 18 months (they were friends first though for about 2 years); one was bad and regrettable; and one was BAAAAD because the guy cheated 3 weeks later (like full CHEAT) and she was pressured by other people into that first kiss after spending about 2 hours with the guy, and i'm sure a lot of the pressure was her simply wanting a first kiss. Moral is spend some time and kiss a guy who is actually a friend, not just a date - or an aquaintance - or a complete stranger. That will make a perfect first kiss.

I got my first kiss about a month after I turned 16. I shared it with my wonderful boyfriend. He's the greatest guy I could ever have met. It was the first kiss for both of us and it wasn't awkward. We didn't rush it or anything and it was just the right time and not awkward. Just wait for the right time with the right guy and it'll be alright. I don't think age matters. I had my first kiss at 12, and I definitely don't regret it. We had been dating 2 months when we finally kissed on the last day of school, and then we dated 6 months after that. Now, we're great friends, and we've both gone on to have our fair share of boy/girlfriends. But it also doesn't matter if you're waiting until you find the perfect person. I personally don't put a lot of weight on kissing, I'll kiss my friends on the cheeks and things like that, but I do wait until I'm in a relationship to kiss a guy. But it doesn't matter. Everyone is different. The only thing I have to say is slightly silly is waiting until marriage. It takes most people years to finally get married, and your significant other may think very early in the relationship that you don't feel the same about them as they do about you if you completely refrain from kissing.
