What would have happened if Dorothy took the red brick road instead of the yellow one? amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I was recently watching this movie and she wouldn't have gone anywhere. The two roads start in a circle spiral thing and only the yellow brick one continued. The red one just stops. But I'm being annoying about this, it's just a joke... :P

Considering it[the book] is based off of the economy, we would have had major inflation.

"There is no definitive answer, however. The Munchkin Army enters the city via the Red Brick Road, so that may be the way to the barracks. Also, Glinda's bubble appears to head in that general direction as she leaves, so that may be the way to her home in the north. (This was, in fact, the basis for an amusing story, "Follow the Other Brick Road" by Frederick E. Otto, in the 1989 edition of Oziana, IWOC's annual fiction anthology.) It does appear, however, that Glinda's bubble enters Munchkinland from the opposite direction. " -http://thewizardofoz.info/faq15.html#7
