It is a problem isn't it D: If you're still having this problem, I advise you try doing some volunteering for a few weeks, it's a good way to get experience. It's what I did.

I have the same problem... But now I am also volunteering in a bar and a recycle store and that is without pay. Sometimes you just have to step up and help yourself.

but on applications, it's not like there's a place to list volunteer experience. they just want to know if they can contact any previous bosses or reasons you were fired from your last job.

yeah, that's what i thought i could do too. i volunteered because i had little job experience, but it turns out the guy i was interviewing with didn't care at all about that stuff.

OHMY GOSH this is soo true! at first i thought this post was going to be sexual (experience...) but then i kept reading and i totally agree. volunteering is a great idea, and make sure you have good references, from past babysitting jobs, or teachers, or your priest/rabbi
