I hate group projects, not only that but they make you less independent.

When I get paired up with some weirdo, I usually say something like, "okay, I'll take this home and do it. I'll tell you what to say when we present it in front of the class."

This. I've done it so many times I've mastered saying "I'll do it myself because you're too dumb" in a nice way.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha. I do that so much.

I really hate when I can't find a partner for those stupid getting-to-know-you activities in the beginning of the year that are like "FIND SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW VERY WELL". Then it's just awkward finding someone and if you can't, you get a teacher. Sucks. But yes, I hate getting random partners or having trouble finding them in general. For a huge project last year, 3 of my best friends (who were also some of the smartest in the class) grouped together and left me in the dust with a friend who is way less motivated/smart. We still rocked though.

Did you the entire classroom?

I fucking hate that. Like, you don't have any people you really *know* in that class, so you don't have a partner. And the teachers all like, "If you don't have a partner, please stand up." Then you're all standing up, looking like a loser. D;
