Why did you have to dye your hair pink to be accepted? And accepted with who?

i didn't dye my hair pink to be accepted by anyone..i had pink hair when i started my job 3 weeks ago, and my manager told me that i looked unprofessional and needed to make myself look more professional in the workplace..hence why i had to dye it a different colour, therefore being more acceptable to the general public. bearing in mind that i live in ireland, and pink hair is not the norm.

i tried to dye my hair pink. it turned black with red in the light. Never. Again.

Where do you work? If you have to interact with the general public all the time, some people will think your hair looks trashy or intimidating.
