For the most part just like yours. To type in Chinese you type the pinyin (how it's pronounced) in English letters and it converts it to characters.

I've been to Beijing. The keyboard is normal. You type the pronounciation, which is called PinYin, and add a number for the tone.

i used to until i asked one of the chinese exchange students at my school...and as others have said she told me it looks the same :)
