Ok, it's usually fine to make a movie from a book, but please don't make a book from a movie, amirite?

Sometimes those books are better than the actual movies though . . . *cough* The Last Airbender *cough*

They've already made a Last Airbender book within a week of the movie coming out? Jeez, selling out much? That's pretty sad... and funny at the same time haha.

The Star Wars books (all of them, even the character spin-offs) are pretty decent...
Alas, I agree with your statement.
The Last Airbender was a wonderful show, by the way.

How was it wonderful? Please enlighten us.

She isn't talking about "The Last Airbender" the movie, she's talking about the TV show on Nick that the movie was based on. That show was really good but the movie is completely destroying its image.

Ah, yeah, I misunderstood. Agreed, then.

I'd rather they make books from movies instead of movies from books. When they make books from movies, they expand on a story that you already like, plus you already know how to picture the characters. When they make a movie off of a book, they almost always end up butchering the plot and cutting out a ton of important stuff. You also get pissed when the characters in the movie look different then you pictured.

I think they should probably READ the book if they are going to make a movie out of it!
