inb4 Lil Wayne song that makes no sense.so allow me to be the first to say one:"put the dick in they mouth so i guess it's fuck what they say im high as a bitch, up up and away man i come down in a couple of days okay you want me up in the cage then ill come down in beast mode"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate to seem like I'm defending Lil Wayne but...those lines definitely make sense: "put a dick in they mouth, so I guess it's 'fuck what they say'" - he's putting his penis..in their mouth. So, "fuck what they say." uhmm. I mean that one actually seems pretty clear. Because "what they say" would come out of their mouth. "I'm high as a bitch" - it's not that it doesnt make sense, it just doesn't have a real meaning. It's like saying "stoned as fuck." it doesn't make sense but you know basically what it means. "up up and away" - I always figured this was a reference to "up up and away" by Kid Cudi (who is always stoned) "man I'll come down in a couple of days" - ..because he's high.. "okay you want me up in the cage" - away from the rap game I guess. Because he thinks he's amazing "then I'll come out in beast mode" - more bragging. He's saying head a beast. Synonym for bamf, if wherever you live isn't familiar with that bit of slang Sorry if you got anno...

Wanna put my tender heart in a blender, watch it spin 'round into a beautiful oblivion. ♫♪

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That makes sense. It's a bit clear to be honest. The lyricist wants to end their love life to get rid of all the negative emotions that might come with it.

"I felt like a glass shrimp, a man on a porcupine fence."

6 foot 7 foot by Lil Wayne makes NO sense whatsoever.

Wow, I should've mentioned that. Haha. "You dont wanna start with weeze cause the F is for finisher" What F? "Just talked to mom, told her she's the sweetest, I beat the beat up, call it self defense" "married to the money fuck the world thats adultery" "real nigga all day and tomorrow" "if these niggas animals then imma have a mink soon" "i call it like I see it, with my glasses on, and most of y'all dont get the picture 'less the flash is on" "you niggas are gelatin, peanuts to an elephant, i got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate" "money too strong pockets on bodybuilder, jumped in a wishing well, now wish me well, tell 'em kiss my ass, call it kiss and tell"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@1033117 (somekid): "You dont wanna start with weeze cause the F is for finisher" What F?-his nickname is 'weezy f baby'. "married to the money fuck the world thats adultery"- as in, regardless of all the people in his life he will always be most devoted to money above all else, as if to say he's cheating. "real nigga all day and tomorrow"- how do you not understand that? he'll always be a 'real nigga' forever. "if these niggas animals then imma have a mink soon"- if these people were animals, i'll have a mink soon; he'll skin them 'cause he's a bamf and doesn't take shit. "i call it like I see it, with my glasses on, and most of y'all dont get the picture 'less the flash is on"- he can see what's going on, whereas most people don't really understand unless it's really obvious. that's what i got out of those. i could be wrong, but it's all interpretation, yeah?

Well yeah, I knew what they all meant, but it sorta doesnt like, go together in the song. Well it's hard to explain. haha. thanks for taking the time to explain though y

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha no problem. a lot of rap doesn't make sense anyways. it's just a bunch of similes and clever puns strung together.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have to agree with you there, even though I'm somewhat a fan of rap. Two songs that actually do make sense, and explain a lot while still rhyming are "Not Afraid" and "Love the Way You Lie" Yeah, I'm a big Eminem fan haha.

I'm gonna quote I Set My Friends On Fire "Look he drank straight from the faucet. Holy shit he's fucking lost it. We only enjoy fine sparkling water. Feed something adhesive to your daughter" :D

I'm not saying that Black and Yellow doesn't make sense, but what is it about? Pittsburgh? His car? Sports teams?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Bumblebees?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wiz Khalifa is from Pittsburgh. In the Chorus of "Black and Yellow," he says "Reppin' my town, when you see me you'll know everything, black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah NfskMjmMal had it right, he's from Pittsburgh, and all the sports teams wear black and yellow (Steelers, Penguins, Pirates).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

With people like Lil' Wayne, his lyrics DO make sense, but they're just out of no where. So they're hard to understand, and it makes it seem like it makes no sense. Haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"real Gs move in silence like lasagna." oh yeah, makes perfect sense

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That makes sense. It's stupid, but it makes sense.

I never got why Gudda Gudda said "grocery bag" in Bedrock. As in "She don't even wonder, cause she know she bad, and I got her nigga, grocery bag"....

every lyric to iCarly's theme song is an individual statement with absolutely no coherence.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YES FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT!!! It's just a bunch of inspirational nonsense that's trying to fool you into thinking it has some super deep meaning. I see a lot of bands these days doing that, just throwing a bunch of metaphors and similies together hoping it maybe ends up meaning something.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"flash that buttery gold, jittery zeitgeist wither by the watering hole, border patrol what are we to heart huckabee art fuckery suddenly?"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A lot of song lyrics just need deeper analysis. I think it's good that a lot of bands/artists want to make you think about what they're putting out into the world. There are a lot more song lyrics though that seem to make zero sense, I agree with that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know this post is old, but... "Kneeling roses disappearing into Moses' dry mouth. " WTF DOES THAT MEAN.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There are songs out there that don't make a whole lot of sense. Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport is one. Maybe I'm listening to different songs, but most of the ones I listen to have metaphors and situations that either I can connect with or that make sense to me.
