Teachers always blame you rather than thier method of teaching , amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
In a few minutes, someone will be complaining about the word "thier".
by Anonymous13 years ago
.......but "their" is correct.
Prime example of why sometimes it's not the teacher.
by Anonymous13 years ago
The poster spelled it thier as opposed to their.
That is what the other anon meant.

Probably , sorry I didn't spellcheck.

I think that this applies if the whole class is doing bad, but if it is only a handful of students then the teacher can't be blamed.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Obvious THEIR method of teaching hasn't gotten through to you, has it?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Totally!
My teacher gave us [an honors class with many smart people. Super smart people, even] a quiz. She said that the grades were so bad she had to take a break.
The highest grade was an 85, in a class full of people who ALWAYS get above 85
Obviously it was HER method of teaching, but she yelled at us. Bitch...

I had a teacher that taught us NOTHING about what we needed for for our state standard science test and then blamed us for not paying attention to her at the end of class. Let's just say she pissed off enough students and parents that knew better that she is looking for a new job.

I once had a teacher who would give us a 40 poblem algebra worksheet after a very nondescriptive lesson, and then she would go shop on the internet. She was surprised that no one did well in her class

I had a teacher that told us what we were supposed to do without teaching us how to do it, if that makes any sense, and wondered why so many people failed and eventually stopped paying attention.
