You control your own life (proverbially). College could be the best time of your life or it could be the worst time. The same could be said for any period of your life.

i agree with you, but doesn't your environment affect what you do with your life, therefore being able to to either restrict or expand your ability to enjoy life? you may be a happy person in high school, but if college presents you with more freedom, can't your happiness increase?

SamG!! You're right, but on the flip-side, there might be someone who enjoyed high school and then couldn't handle all the added responsibilities of college.
