All except Chris Columbus. He was pretty cool.

Yea. The third one was pretty good but they left so much out of the last three.

I personally didn't like the one's directed by him as much. My favorite was the third one, which was directed by Alfonso Cuaron. And I agree with SoyChelsea; the sixth one was terribly done.

cuaron was easily my least favorite actually.

they win at fanstasy.

Um, they're all millionaires, so no they don't fail at life.

I don't go stark raving mad over the series, but seeing as the movies are good and the entire production team is probably millionaires, Imma have to no way this.

The movies aren't the books. You can't expect everything to be the same, especially considering how big the books are.

Honestly.. I think most of us would be willing to sit thru an extra 2 hours at the movie theater if they got the movies to follow the books

Even still, there are parts of books that can't possibly be put into movies like when they are describing what someone is thinking etc.

Well sure but they coulda added dobby and winky in the 4th movie. or made the 3rd movie at least close to the book. They did it for the lotr movies. And I Guesswe may be the only two but id be willing to sit thru a stand like movie if they redid the 6th one..

polarthebear is right. I love Harry Potter but you just can't expect everything in the movies to be the same, and it's as close as they can get in 2.5 hours. And book purists kinda annoy me :/

The Harry Potter movies were good. It's the producers and directors of Eragon that fail at life.

The sixth Harry Potter movie was an epic failure. I thought the third and seventh were the best.
