+245 Disney movies typically go the same: there is an independent princess/ regular girl who somehow struggles with something. It all works out in the end, but she needed the help in the end from a guy. It's a little sexist, amirite?

Well, to be fair, a lot of action movies have the male character need the help of a girl at some point.

i think it's ok, I mean the girl usually shows some sort of strength or ambition. For example, ariel fought Ursula (with the help of eric) to save her father. She also saved eric in the beginning of the movie too.

In Disney's next movie, Brave, the protagonist is female. So I guess they plan on breaking their sexism streak

Alot of movies have this happen...

What about Mulan? she is just like " fuck you guys, i got this" and saved china. Ohhhh and Brave is coming out with a strong female lead character.

lol I just said that

I don't think that's what makes it sexist. It's encouraging people to work together.

Aw, come on, Mulan and Tangled were awesome! Sure, they needed aid from males at some points in the movie, but in the end, they were the ones that really kicked ass. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider= amazingness :)
