I don't know about you, but I would wear those shirts as a joke. Chances are, they're probably just being jokey about it.

I don't like it when anyone wears those shirts. If a beautiful person wears one, to me they come off as annoying and arrogant and someone who clearly knows how good they look, which makes them less attractive anyway. And then if a plain or ugly person wears one, I can't help but feel a little sad and sorry for them because people have probably been laughing at them behind their back all day, and they don't know the accidental irony in what they're wearing.
