-366 Just because you lose your virginity at 15 doesn't mean you're slut, its just different with everyone! amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

15? That's 9th or 10th grade. That's really really young.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'd be 15 in 11th, if I lived in America =P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I lost mine the day before I turned 16. It was with a guy I dated for about a year and a half. We were in love and I don't think that losing it at 15 makes me a slut.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i agree, as long as you're ready, age doesn't make a difference.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So if a 12 yr old is "ready", she should have sex? The thing is, when you're still in middle/high school, your hormones are still in control. Even in college sometimes. Sometimes it fogs peoples' thoughts. That's why I, amongst others, want to wait a little longer.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If your hormones are in control, then doesn't that mean that you are probably ready?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No. It means your hormones are telling you to make babies. You're ready when you legitimately think you're ready, without your hormones talking.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you're ready when you can afford to take care of a baby.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or you could just use condoms/birth control...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Now a day's this is normal and maybe in the future, I may be considered a hyprocite for this but I believe being older and ready, is better, Just my views on it :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Now a day's this is normal? 15 year olds having sex gets more an more normal the further back you go in time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Slut is definitely not a fair thing to label someone who does this, unless they do it sluttily... which is bound to be a real word.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My best friend lost her's at the beginning of 8th grade. Even though i love her, i'm the first to admit she's a slut for it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just finished 8th grade and I knew tons of people who have already lost their virginity. One girl is pregnant and she is 13.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's disgusting, and sad. poor baby. there are way too many things to consider at that age, and even if she will make a great mom and her family is there to help her, still, poor baby

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would never call my best friend a slut even if she had sex with the entire county. I don't judge people by their sex lives.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

personally, I think it's your own choice as long as you truly believe you're ready, it's with someone you really care about, and you're ready to deal with any consequences that may occur. I admit, I lost my virginity when I was 15. It was with the guy I was with for almost two years and who I cared for very deeply. He's still the only one I've ever done it with, so if I'm considered a slut for that, then I think the meaning of that word needs some serious reconsideration.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Keep trying to convince yourself, hun.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One of my best friends who is 15 just lost hers to a guy who has bent over backwards for her. If someone hurts her, he's there making sure that person feels guilt, after he's made sure she's okay. They love each other, and maybe they might regret it in a few years, but it was safe sex and they don't regret it now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i lost mine when i was 15 to the guy who i ended up being with for over 3 years. not once have I regretted the decision, and it is very different for everyone. I'm not a slut bc after him i waited a year before i was with anyone else and i have now been with that person for over a year. maybe someone that loses it at 15 and has sex with a different guy every week is a slut, but you have to think about the circumstances and that everyone is different.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

people need to reconsider the meaning of the word "slut".. being sexually active doesnt make u a slut. fucking the every boy you meet does

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with that. Losing your virginity at 15 doesn't make you a slut, it may make you a bit stupid, but not a slut. Now if you start sleeping around with everyone then yeah you are.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i dont think slut is a good word for it but its still not good

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was pretty sure a slut was someone who has sex with lots of people... So if you lose your virginity at 15, and you've been going out with the person since you were 13, and then you stay going out with them until you're like 18, and don't have sex with anyone again for a couple of years... I don't think that's being a slut. However, if you lose your virginity at 15, with someone you've been with for like a week, and then do it with another person within like a week or something, then you're undoubtedly a slut. Anyway, just my opinion. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I lost mine when I was 15. When I was 16 that chick tried to get pregnant and ruin mine and her life. Now at 17 I still hate her and regret having sex with her.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Age isn't the only factor. 13 and 14 year olds are almost exclusively *not* ready*, mostly because they're not far enough past childhood to have been with anyone for long enough for it to make sense. I think, whether you lose it at 15 or 26, it's okay as long as a) it's with someone you're in a longterm, committed relationship with, b) you've talked about what it means and c) you use protection correctly. It's about being educated and thoughtful about it, no matter how old you are. Anyone who sleeps with a lot of people in quick succession without considering the consequences or making commitments is, by definition, a slut. But a 15-year-old who has safe sex with her loving, committed boyfriend? No. I don't believe so. And I'm almost 20 and still a virgin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

EXACTLY! Thank you for this. This is what I wanted to say without knowing how to say everything I wanted to. You didn't leave anything out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think it's crazy, you're 15. To be honest, 90% of teens say they're in love and they're not. I'm guilty of it, but you can be in a relationship and not love the person. Anybody can be in a commited relationship. And most teens aren't smart enough to have safe sex. it's just better when you have sex because you're completely ready. And I think most girls who lose their virginity at a young age have insecurity issues or delude themselves into thinking they're in love with someone because they want to have sex. if a guy loves you, he'll wait until you're old enough and ready.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why are you only talking about girls?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just what I was wondering.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

if you loose your virginity due to rape, you are not a slut. but other than that, 15 year olds really shouldn't be having sex. do you honestly think that you love your boyfriend? well im sorry to inform dear, but if you really love each other you'll respect each other enough to wait. that way neither of you will risk STD's, or pregnancy. and there's also these things called morals, that most sexually active teenagers don't have. you may not realize it, but morals are a really good thing to have.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HAHAHAHAHA, slut.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Romeo and Juliet did it...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

romeo and juliet also killed themselves. you wanna go ahead and do that too?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Romeo was like, 24... Juliet was 13. Not exactly a good example for anything.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're perfectly right. Depending on how well you know the other person, and what state of mind you were in when it happened. Chances are if you didn't plan it out, you'll regret it in the long run. Personally, I'd think waiting to put yourself in a place like that would be better, so you can do as much growing up as possible and you'll be ready for the consequences as they come; like if he/she changes their mind, or god forbid someone gets pregnant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you lose your virginity at 15 you are not automatically a slut. You can even consider it a mistake because you realize you were so young but that still doesn't make you a slut. Like someone said before a slut if someone who has a lot of sex with different people in a short amount of time without worrying about protection n' shit. Oh btw I HATE it when people say teens are too stupid to use protection, I agree SOME are. But most teenagers DO NOT want to get effin' pregnant. So yes, for the most part teenagers are smart enough to use condoms AND birth control.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i don't think it makes you a slut, i lost mine at 15 granted we dated for almost a year before we did anything...just remember be safe be smart! :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know someone who is 11 and has lost his virginity honestly I don't think it's right

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats completely disgusting

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And Romeo and Juliet were married. So they did have morals.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't see how it's moralistic to just get married so you can have sex; that's even more immature and stupid than sex before marriage.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I know a few young kids who are not virgins, but it wasn't their choice... don't judge.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was 15 and had sex for the first time with my then boyfriend. We were together for a few years. I never regretted it, since it was really nice and comfortable. We were both ready. Also, I don't like how everyone assumes this only counts for women; as if men at 15 couldn't be sluts.
